Two Larned residents arrested after traffic stopTwo people from Larned were arrested around 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 10, after a deputy with the Barton County Sheriff’s office stopped a vehicle in the 2600 block of Railroad Avenue, just south of Great Bend for an alleged traffic infraction. During the traffic stop, the deputy recognized Heather Holmes, age 42, in the vehicle. The deputy was aware Holmes had active warrants for her arrest, according to a news release from Sheriff Brian Bellendir.April 14, 2025
