ST. JOHN — Selected student-created art pieces will be available for purchase at the Youth Creations Art Auction on Saturday, Nov. 23. The St. John/Hudson USD 350 Educational Foundation Fundraiser will be held at the Stafford County Annex, 210 East 3rd, St. John, with doors opening at 6:15 p.m. and live auction starting at 6:30 p.m.  

The event encourages students to create a piece, either as a class or individually. The artist earns 20% of the donations from the item auctioned. It also encourages the student or class to showcase their art on stage in front of donors, providing an opportunity to practice public speaking. Finally, it is an opportunity for the students to give back to the school with part of the donation to the Educational Foundation and the art department. Donations will also help pay for class projects, field trips and classroom needs.

The Youth Creations Art Auction Committee invites the public to attend the evening fundraiser, visit with the students, and enjoy a dessert.
