On Monday, March 24, the city crews will begin working on Harrison Street by the east entrance of McDonald’s. Workers will be replacing the asphalt with concrete at this location, working it in three segments to reduce the impact on the business.
Director of Public Works Jason Cauley said the work is expected to take approximately four weeks as crews will let one segment cure for seven days before moving to the next segment.
“Please be attentive as crews work in these areas,” Cauley stated in a news release. “We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause and would like to thank you for your patience.”
