USD 428 has three vision screeners in its inventory along with an additional unit on loan from the Great Bend Lions Club that is shared with neighboring school districts. Thanks to a grant from the Patterson Family Foundation, USD 428 will add two additional units, allowing each of the five school nurses in the district to have one.

 This will also allow the Lions Club’s unit to be used in neighboring schools full-time.
