The 2024 Sunflower Diversified Services 5K Turkey Trot on Nov. 16 raised money for services for people with developmental disabilities and delays. There was also a one-mile fun run.

Medals were awarded to the top three finishers of each age division, and the overall male and female winner won a turkey.

Those who donated two items to the Food Bank of Barton County were in a drawing for a Garmin watch. Susan Thacker was the winner of the drawing.

Everyone who entered early received a Turkey Trot T-shirt.

As of Nov. 21, sponsors did not yet have the final tally on how much money was raised.
