The Great Bend Tribune’s 2024 “20 Under 40” honorees will be recognized during the Oct. 25 Friday on Forest activities. There will also be a Halloween costume contest.

Friday on Forest takes place from 5-9 p.m. on Forest Ave. between Main and Williams. There will also be live music by the Kurt Allen Band.

“20 Under 40” honors 20 individuals who are under 40 years old and are making a difference in our community. This year the Tribune has also invited a select group it calls Seniors Making a Difference.

This is the last Final Friday on Forest event of 2024. The street will close to vehicular traffic at 1 p.m. to set up a zone for free family-friendly outdoor entertainment. Food and alcohol vendors will be available. No smoking; no pets.
