The Barton County Treasurer’s Office Thursday announced some temporary closings of its drive-through facility at the county’s Annex Building, located at the corner of Broadway and Morton streets. The reason for the closures is a staffing shortage, County Treasurer Jim Jordan said.

The site will be closed all day Monday, Feb. 8, through Friday, Feb. 19. It will close again from noon to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24.

However, the Treasurer’s Office second floor courthouse location, 1400 Main in Great Bend, will be in normal operation.
