Many know Director Sr. Jane Belanger through her work with the Heartland Farm’s herd of alpacas. However, Sr. Jane is a woman of many talents. In fact, she has a master’s degree in art and spent many years as a high school art teacher.

Now, Sr. Jane is sharing her artistic and teaching skills with the public by leading a 2-night watercolor painting workshop from 6 – 8:30 p.m. on Tuesdays, Nov. 12 and 19 at Heartland Farm.

Whether you are new to painting in watercolor or are a veteran wanting to further expand your skills, Sr. Jane will help you to learn or further develop your skills by exploring the basics of watercolor painting including utilizing wet on dry and wet on wet techniques. No drawing skills required.

Registration is $55 per person. Space is limited to 12 participants. Registration closes Wednesday, Nov. 6.

To register, visit heartlandfarm-ks.org/watercolor-painting-2024-registration, call 620-923-4585, or email hfarminfo@oppeace.org.
