School board work session focuses on leadership

The Great Bend USD 428 Board of Education will meet at 5 p.m. Wednesday, March 20, at the District Education Center for a goal-setting workshop.

A Leadership Services Field Specialist from the Kansas Association of School Boards (KASB) will lead a discussion on leadership topics focused on board development, strategic planning and setting goals for the district.

District business will not be addressed, and no action will occur during this work session.

Topics on the agenda include:

• Superintendent Evaluation methods

• District Survey Tool
