The Kansas Office of Broadband Development (KBOD) invites area residents to share their thoughts on internet connectivity in their neighborhoods. The Kansas Broadband Roadshow will be in Great Bend on Thursday, March 9.

KBOD has contracted with the Public Policy and Management Center (PPMC) at Wichita State University to oversee the facilitation and data collection for the State of Kansas around the topic of digital equity. Representatives from PPMC will be in the Fine Arts Building at Barton Community College, 245 NE 30 Road, from 5:30-7 p.m. on Thursday to hear from area residents. They hope to hear about internet access and availability, public internet access, inclusive design, internet speeds, online safety and privacy, digital skills training, devices, and more.
