A motorist who allegedly pulled a knife on another driver after a road rage incident was arrested Sunday, Great Bend Police Chief Steven Haulmark reports.

Police were dispatched to a disturbance in the area of Washington St. and Lakin Ave. around 10:54 a.m. on Oct. 27.

Officers arrived at the scene and contacted two adults in vehicles. They determined the disturbance was the result of a road rage type of incident, Haulmark stated in a new release. One of the subjects involved, Ronald Draney, age 70, reportedly pulled a knife on the other driver involved. Draney was arrested for aggravated assault and transported to the Barton County Jail, where he was booked and released after posting a $20,000 surety bond.
