Murrow wins Stafford County three-way race for Sheriff

Incumbent Stafford County Sheriff Robert Murrow outpaced two challengers to retain his office in Tuesday's Republican primary.

STAFFORD COUNTY — Robert Murrow defeated two challengers in a three-way race for Stafford County Sheriff on the Republican ballot in Tuesday’s primary election.

Murrow garnered 441 votes, while challenger Greg McAlister received 198 and challenger Tori Perez received 166.

The sheriff’s race was the only local contest on the Republican ballot in Stafford County. In state races, Levi Morris received 402 votes in Stafford County to Donald E. Anderson II’s 609. Tory Marie Blew beat challenger John Sturn 515-239 in the race for Kansas Senate 33rd District.
