LSH escapee caught in Utah

LARNED — Escaped sex offender John Freeman Colt, who walked out of the Sexual Predator Treatment Program of Larned State Hospital on June 30, has been captured in Utah.

Tuesday morning, local authorities confirmed that Colt, 42, had been arrested. Pawnee County Attorney Douglas McNett also said that the escapee had been caught, but provided no other details. Pawnee County Sheriff Scott King said that he and the U.S. Marshals were drafting a news release for later in the day.
