Be Well Barton County is sponsoring a series of Bicycle and Pedestrian Planning Workshops to help develop a new Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan. The next workshop is from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 29, at the Great Bend Chamber of Commerce office, 1125 Williams St.
The informal workshops will give participants a chance to visit with the project facilitator, share experiences and be a part of making area communities safe. Stop by for 15 minutes or stay for the evening.
Other workshops are set for 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 30, at Clara Barton Hospital’s Turbull Safe Room; Monday, Oct. 5, at the School-Community Library in Ellinwood; and Tuesday, Sept. 6, at the Central Plains High School Cafeteria in Claflin.
