Local projects are: Rice ‑ U.S. 56, bridge #001 over Spring Creek Drainage located 6.85 miles east of the Barton County line, bridge replacement, Reece Construction Company, Inc., Salina, $1,849,842.21; Rush ‑ U.S. 183, bridge #003 over Walnut Creek Drainage located 0.05 mile north of Cherry Street in Rush Center, bridge replacement, Klaver Construction Company Inc., Wichita, $2,520,670.68.
