The Kansas Department of Transportation announces approved bids for state highway construction and maintenance projects. The letting took place Dec. 18, 2024, in Topeka. Some of the bids may include multiple projects that have been bundled based on proximity and type of work.

Local project approved was - Hoisington, pavement restoration on U.S. 281/K‑4 from North Center Street (west intersection) to North Main Street (west intersection), pavement reconstruction, 0.3 mile, Morgan Brothers Construction, Inc., Lacrosse, $1,489,285.02.
