Nashville recording artist Jake Gill, a native of Reno County, returned to Kansas and kicked off his Winter Jamz Concert Series with a free show Saturday at the Clayton L. Moses Bandshell in the Barton County Courthouse Square. A few dozen fans braved the brisk weather to view his performance up close, while more listened from their vehicles parked around the square. During the concert, Gill also accepted donations to benefit Sunflower Diversified Services. Gill says he has raised tens of thousands of dollars for non-profit organizations around the world during the last three years.
