STAFFORD — We hope you had a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. My kids know me well – they got me a seat that makes sporting events more comfortable, sweaters and a “Battery Powered” vest. (So much for not exchanging gifts!) They received from me my book, “As I Remember.” No phone calls from them on how great the memories were ... The clothing I received will make future days a lot warmer and the library’s thermostat can be lowered. Win! Win!

Sandy and I are looking forward to the New Year at Nora’s Place. We’ll be back to Monday morning Preschool Story Hour from 10-11 a.m. on Jan. 6. On Jan. 13 at that same time we will have a special story hour with everyone invited to brainstorm with us and Stafford Economic Development on ways to improve childcare in Stafford. Share this important meeting time with others and please come.

Sandy enjoyed helping our younger patrons enjoy Christmas Crafts while they were on school vacation. Sandy always has crafts that kids and families can do together. We want these young ones to have fond memories of Nora’s Place and know they are always welcome.
