Great Bend High School invites the community and local veterans to attend its annual Veterans Day Assembly Friday morning at 9 a.m. in the main gym. Staff and students will assist those in need that park around the high school by picking them up at their vehicles in a golf cart and dropping them off at the front door of the school. Veterans will be recognized at the assembly and will be in reserved seating on the main gym floor. Following the assembly, veterans will be served donuts and coffee.
