The Vatican International Exhibition of Eucharistic Miracles of the World will come to Great Bend in November.

Divine Mercy Radio will host the Vatican International Exhibition of Eucharistic Miracles of the World Nov. 5-7 at the St. Patrick Parish Center, 4100 Broadway Ave., Great Bend.

This exhibit consists of 39 2-by-5-foot detailed vinyl panels highlighting some of the most powerful eucharistic miracles of the world. Each panel tells the story of a Eucharistic miracle and is accompanied by photos and artwork. The purpose of the exhibit is to increase awareness of the real presence of Jesus Christ in the Eucharistic and to promote Eucharistic adoration.

Prince of Peace Parish has Eucharistic Adoration in its chapel at the St. Patrick on Fridays.

An Italian teenager, Blessed Carlo Acutis, who was skilled in art and computers, put together this exhibit. Acutis completed this work in 2005 and died a year later of leukemia at the young age of 15. He was beautified “Blessed” by Pope Francis Oct. 10, 2020, after being credited with curing a Brazilian boy from a rare pancreatic defect that made eating difficult.

The hours for viewing this free exhibit will be from 4-7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 5; 1-7 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 6; and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 7.
