County addresses memberships; city looks at tax credits

The Barton County Commission will meet Monday morning and the Great Bend City Council will meet Monday evening.

The Barton County Commission will meet at 9 a.m. Monday at the Barton County Courthouse, 1400 Main in Great Bend. The agenda includes bulk mailing for the Appraiser’s Office, a matching fund request from the Southwest Kansas area Agency on Aging, and memberships in the Kansas Association of Counties and the Kansas Legislative Policy Group.

The Great Bend City Council will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the City Office, 1209 Williams. The agenda includes Housing Opportunities Inc. tax credit application support, a report from City Administrator Kendal Francis and a report from Community Coordinator Christina Hayes.
