STAFFORD — Christmas is Special in Stafford. Main Street is beautifully decorated, a Pop-Up Christmas Market last week, free movies, Music Bingo, Community Christmas Service, and Christmas Kid Carnival. Sandy and I had a Snowball Throw and Christmas Stories for kids to enjoy at the Kids Carnival. These are all yearly events that help make Christmas special in our community. Thank you for all the work and time it takes to give us the Christmas Spirit.
Holiday hours for Larabee Library will give Sandy and I a chance to enjoy family time. We will be closed Dec. 24-25, Dec. 31 and Jan. 1. Then we will be ready to start the new year. Happy Holidays to all!
Recent Reads for Gerry: “The Songbird of Hope Hill” by Kim Vogel Sawyer (Rotating Collection), Fannie Flagg books (our collection and Kansas Library card), “I was Anastasia” by Ariel Lawhon, and “Tom Lake” by Ann Patchett (Kansas Library Card). A variety of inspiration, historical fiction, and drama that were all great reads.
