Jim Jordan, County Treasurer, announced on Tuesday that the Treasurer’s Office will not be able to complete title work beginning at noon, Thursday, Aug. 12, through Friday, Aug. 13. The Kansas Department of Revenue is updating the title system which will affect all Kansas Treasurers. Jordan said, “We hope the upgrade is completed by Monday, Aug. 16th. If not, we will immediately notify the public.”   

The Treasurer’s Office will continue to offer all other services to include regular tag renewals and tax payments. For questions call 620-793-1831. Jordan reminds the public that county staff are available throughout the business day for in-person service.
