A suspect kicked in the back door of an occupied home in Great Bend and removed guns and money, according to information from Crime Stoppers. The nonprofit organization is seeking information about an aggravated burglary that occurred at 5221 Eisenhower on Friday, June 27. Great Bend Police were dispatched to the residence at 7:51 that morning.
Sheriff Brian Bellendir, speaking for Crime Stoppers, said rifles, shotguns, handguns, ammunition and cash were stolen. Loss was in excess of $9,000.
“The serial numbers of the weapons are recorded,” Bellendir noted.
Anyone with information about this crime, or any other crime, is asked to call Crime Stoppers, 792-1300, or local law enforcement. Calls to Crime Stoppers remain anonymous, and any tip that leads to an arrest or recovery of property may be subject to a cash reward.
