United Way of Central Kansas (UWCK) Impact Grant applications are open for 2024 funding with applications due by Nov. 15th. This funding opportunity is designed to provide financial support to local non-profit organizations working to meet the critical needs of our community. Grants of up to $1,000 are available for innovative projects that benefit residents in Barton and Pawnee Counties. Applications will be evaluated using a scoring system that reflects UWCK’s funding priorities.

Impact Grants offer a simple and straightforward application process, allowing organizations to focus on creating meaningful change. Whether your organization needs initial seed money or support to launch a program that will benefit the community, we encourage you to apply. This is an excellent opportunity for non-profits to partner with UWCK, strengthen community ties, and work together toward the betterment of our region.

“Impact Grants allow us to connect with more non-profit organizations across the region, building unity and fostering collaboration,” said Charell Owings, UWCK Executive Director. “We are stronger together, and we look forward to seeing the great ideas our local non-profits have for improving our community.”

Interested organizations can submit a one-page application along with applicable documentation. Applicants should apply for the exact amount needed (up to $1,000) and demonstrate how the funds will be used to meet their project’s goals.

Please note, Impact Grants are not available for event sponsorships, and funds must be used for specific programs or projects. Additionally, UWCK cannot fund annual drives, operating deficits, religious purposes, or other specified exclusions.

Applications can be submitted anytime throughout the year, but the next review period closes on Nov. 15th. For more information or to apply, please visit www.uwck.org/impact-grant-application or contact Charell Owings at 620-792-2403 or by email atunitedwaycentralks@hotmail.com.
