Madison Marie Debes and Matthew Pierce Blackmon were united in marriage at 5 p.m. on Aug. 12, 2017, at The Brass on Baltimore in Kansas City, Mo., in a ceremony officiated by Dave MaGee. Parents of the bride are Jim and Susan Debes of Great Bend. Parents of the groom are Bruce and Jill Blackmon of Prosper, Texas.
The bride is the granddaughter of Lois Replogle Great Bend, the late Dr. Charles Replogle and the late Lawrence and Mary Margaret Debes. The groom is the grandson of the late Ronald and Ann Pierce and the late Eugene and Marie Blackmon.
Maid of Honor was Elizabeth Kutina, cousin of the bride. Matron of Honor was Caitlin King, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Kylie Sinclair Birney, Elizabeth Elliott Musgrove, Elizabeth Hughes, Dayna Trempy, Paige Blackmon, sister of the groom, and Allyson Wood.
Best man was Austin Brown. Groomsmen were Matthew Hildebrand, Shae Hinman, Connor McGowan, Colton Debes, brother of the bride, Eric Braun, Grant Edmunds and Matthew Varhola.
Ushers were Jack Cantele and John Munz.
The reader was Andrew Kutina, cousin of the bride.
The bride is a graduate of Great Bend High School and Kansas State University. She is employed by Cerner Corporation as a Senior Associate Consultant.
The groom is a graduate of Blue Valley West High School and Kansas State University. He is employed as an electrical designer for Blum Consulting Engineers Inc.
After a honeymoon in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the couple is at home in Dallas, Texas.
Blackmon
