Webinar looks and baby brain development

The next Living Well Wednesday webinar from K-State Research and Extension is titled “Rapid Development of Baby Brains and Why it Matters.” The program will run Wednesday, Dec. 6, from 12:10-1 p.m.

Positive early childhood experiences are critical for babies as their brain develops faster during this time than any other throughout their lifespan. Stress and trauma can have significant impacts on brain development. K-State research and extension Child Development Specialist Bradford Wile, Marion County Family and Youth Development Agent Tristen Cope and Family Community Wellness of Cottonwood District Monique Koerner will host the webinar.

Living Well Wednesday is a virtual learning series hosted by K-State Research and Extension, Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS) professionals from across the state offered the first Wednesday of each month. Register online at bit.ly/LWWFall23.
