Makayah Trejo

Student Library Assistant, Emma Clemons will be focusing on different seniors throughout the year to spotlight, and this will be featured in our Check It Out column. Today’s Senior Spotlight is Makayah Trejo.

Makayah is a senior at EHS. Her family members are Ashley, Ryan, Abbey, Elyssiah, and Martin. Her favorite book is “Everything, Everything” because it is really interesting how the character can’t leave her house, and she has to have everything perfect for her just to live, but then there is a plot twist and it is really good. Her favorite quote is, “One day at a time” - Anonymous. Makayah’s plan after graduation is to attend Barton Community College and then go to Fort Hays State University for Radiology. Makayah’s favorite class is Culinary because she has been in that class for four years, because they get to make food and they all don’t have to make the same thing. Makayah’s advice for incoming students is to strive for the best in all things you do and to soak in every little minute because it goes by fast and you don’t even know it. We wish Makayah a great year in her senior chapter!
