Russell Community Theater’s summer production of Red, White and Tuna by Jaston Williams, Joe Sears, and Ed Howard will be presented July 9-13 at the RCT Playhouse, 5th & Kansas, with curtain at 8 p.m.

Tuna, Texas, is where the action is this summer! The third installment of the “Tuna” series brings us to the Fourth of July Tuna High School Reunion. It’s been several years since we left Bertha (Brenda Odgers) and Arles (Daltin Mauro) dancing at the end of A Tuna Christmas. Did the romance blossom? Has Didi Snavley (Amber Sikes) received any “cosmic” communications from R.R.’s UFO? Did Stanley (Mauro) make his fortune in the Albuquerque taxidermy business? These and other burning questions will be asked and answered in the side-splitting spoof of life in rural America.

Cast members are doing double duty on characters with Dalton Mauro, John McKee, Becky Jones, Becky Anschutz and Amber Sikes playing multiple roles.

Red, White and Tuna is being directed by Deb Kreutzer and presented with special permission by Concord Theatricals.
