Student Library Assistant Gracyn Dombroski will be focusing on different seniors throughout the year to spotlight, and this will be featured in our Check It Out column.  Today we have two Senior Spotlights. Today’s Senior Spotlights are Haley Rugan and Evan Ringwald.

Haley is a senior at EHS. Her family members are Karen, Gene, Christopher and Lauren. Her favorite quote is, “You have no taste, but we like you.”

Something Haley has learned from other students is that there are some people that are good and some that are the wrong crowd of people to hang around.

After graduation, Haley is to go to college at Barton. Something you might not know about Haley is that she likes baking.

We wish Haley a great year in her senior chapter!

Evan is a senior at EHS. His family members are Lauren, Nathan, Chad and Angie. His favorite book is “The Great Gatsby” because it has a thought-provoking storyline. His favorite quote is, “They’re not world beaters,” which he attributed to a n unnamed football coach. Evan is very passionate about Kansas State University sports programs.

What makes EHS special is its imperfections. They help it feel less like a journey and more like a destination. Evan would tell incoming students to enjoy their time here. It goes very quickly and you will remember every moment of it.

We wish Evan a great year in his senior chapter!
