Mauler Reunion

The descendants of the Joseph and Johann Mauler families gathered for their biannual family reunion on Aug. 27, at the Best Western Courtyard with Gerald and Lois Mauler and families and Fred and Pam Joy as hosts.
A pot luck dinner was served at 12:30 p.m. with Father Charles Mazouch leading the prayer.
The afternoon was spent playing games, taking pictures and visiting. Francis and Coleta Haberman won the prize for both being the oldest of 90 years old. The prize for traveling the farthest was Bill and Connie McKee from San Pedro, Calif. Kinley Karlin won the prize for being the youngest at 3 months. The prize for still living on the home place was won by Eugene Maneth for living all of his life there. Gerald and Lois Mauler won the prize for the most children, with five.
Those attending were Kay Maneth, John and Sandy Maneth, Ron and Janet Maneth, Matt, Rebecca, Brady and Kinley Karlin, Jennifer Maneth, Trenton, Chelsea, Halle and Remi Mauler, Chuck and Mary Skolaut, Ed and Sharon Mauler, Fr. Charles Mazouch, Michael Mauler, Nakita, Keno, Kacen and Mila Adame, Jeff Mauler, Kevin Mauler, Pollie Unruh, Don Kulhman, Gerald and Lois Mauler, of Great Bend; Samantha, Matthew, Izzy and Noah Asebedo, of Council Grove; Charles and Mary Jo Hamon of Valley Falls; David and Barbara Delker of Wichita; Eugene and Mary Jo Maneth, Dale, Billie and Katie Kulhman, Chuck and Geralyn Wegener, of Olmitz; Michael, Brandy, Bryce and Kolton Maneth, of Albert; Justin, Autumn, Axell Fischer, of Salina; and Fred and Pam Joy of Hays.
The next reunion will be held the last Sunday in August of 2019 with Eugene and Mary Jo Maneth and Chuck and Grealyn Wegener as hosts.
