Jessica Bowman with Smoky Hills Public Television shares a story with children at the Ellinwood School/Community Library.

Ellinwood School/Community Library Summer Library Program hosted Jessica Bowman with Smoky Hills Public Television Share-a-Story last week. We had a wonderful time with Smoky Hills PBS. The kids listened to a story, made a craft, watched an episode of Nature Cat, and got to take home the book, “Can You Dig It?” for free!

This week, on Wednesday, the Kansas Wetlands Education Center was scheduled be here to present a fabulous program. From snakes to scorpions, and pillbugs to dragonfly larva, there is a whole world of critters to discover on the adventure. The kids explore through stories, nature journaling, and meeting live animals.

We appreciate all of the work that goes into these programs.
