Heartland Farm offers Beer Brewing 101 workshop

PAWNEE ROCK —Interested in learning how to brew your own beer at home from start to finish? Heartland Farm’s own Sr. Jane Belanger will show you the ropes in this two-night, hands-on workshop scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 3 from 6-9 p.m. and Thursday, Oct. 17 from 6-8 p.m.

Learn the basics of brewing equipment, ingredients, and the brewing process as the class brews a batch of beer together. Follow a recipe from beginning to end, including fermenting and bottling the batch. Learn the differences between different types of beer and taste a variety of beer styles brewed at Heartland Farm.

Registration is $65 per person. Space is limited to 10 participants.
