Student Library Assistant Emma Clemons will be focusing on different seniors throughout the year to spotlight, and this will be featured in our Check It Out column. Today’s Senior Spotlight is Harleey Freeman.
Harleey is a senior at EHS. Her family members are Chester Freeman, Heidi Freeman, and Cody Freeman. Her favorite book is “Where The Wild Things Are” by Maurice Sendak because it has been her favorite book since the first time she heard it in class. This book is really important to her because it inspires her, not just the art, but how she perceives it. Her favorite quote is, “Talent is pursued interest. Anything you’re willing to practice, you can do.” -Bob Ross. Harleey’s been involved in NHS, KAY, and is a dedicated art student. Harleey has learned that respect and being kind is very important. Harleey’s advice for incoming students is to listen in class and volunteer for fun things. You only go through high school once, make it memorable. We wish Harleey a great year in her senior chapter!
