The “church without a roof” is roofless no more.

Tim Singleton at  Great Bend’s First Southern Baptist Church, 3301 19th St., said the building that lost its roof in the July 16, 2023 storm has been restored and the public is invited to a Celebration Sunday at 10:45 a.m. on July 14.

“We are pleased to report that we are back in our building and are so incredibly thankful,” he said. The service, coming two days ahead of the anniversary of the storm, is a celebration of God’s faithfulness.
