The Senior Center Crochet Club meets at 1 p.m. each Monday at the Great Bend Senior Center, 2005 Kansas Ave. This is an informal group with all levels of experience that shares patterns, techniques, ideas, yarn and conversation at no fee. All levels are welcome, encouraged, assisted and supported as well as donations of yarn, sewing accessories and cash for ongoing projects.  The club recently completed 200 Teenie Beanie crocheted caps for premature infants and babies. These caps were sent to a neonatal unit for those in need. They are currently preparing for their next project, “Christmas in July.”
