King and Queen Norma and Norman Kimber

The American Legion Post 180 in Great Bend held their annual Valentine Dinner and Dance on Feb. 12. The 2011 King and Queen were Norma and Norman Kimber of Hoisington.
The Ladies Auxiliary sponsored three fundraising activities throughout the evening with a Sweetheart photo booth, a silent auction table and the 50/50 ticket can. The efforts of all who contributed whether by working each task or by a donation, helped the post raise $574. The money raised will purchase supplies for cleaning and painting the post. Members are asked to come in on March 12 or March 29 to do much needed work.
