Are you a creative student with a passion for art and storytelling? Here’s your chance to showcase your talent and celebrate the vital role of newspapers in our society!

National Newspaper Week 2024 will be celebrated from Oct. 6–12. This annual event highlights the importance of the newspaper industry in the United States and honors the dedication of newspapers and their employees across North America. To mark this special week, students are invited to create an original newspaper cartoon that pays tribute to National Newspaper Week.

Contest Details

Theme: Design a cartoon that celebrates National Newspaper Week and the impact of newspapers.

Medium: All styles are welcome, including drawings, paintings, or digital graphic designs.

Prize: The winner will receive a $100 prize and have their artwork published nationally.

Deadline: Submit your artwork by Sept. 25th to ajackson@kspress.com.
