Sr. Jane Belanger siphons the beer into a bucket, preparing for the final stage before bottling. The workshop began on Oct. 3 and concluded on Oct. 17. Now the beer must age for at least two weeks before it is ready to drink.

Next month, Sr. Belanger will teach a two-night, hands-on workshop (6-8:30 p.m. Nov. 12 and 19) on watercolor painting. Learn more online at heartlandfarm-ks.org.
