Vera Kruckenberg of Great Bend will celebrate her 90th birthday on July 22 with a card shower.
Vera was born on July 22, 1928, in Eureka. In 1993 she retired from the Barton County Appraiser’s Office. Her husband Kenny Kruckenberg died in 1969. She has three children, Connie Karlin of Great Bend, Sherry (Larry) Keil of Durango, Colo., and Jay (Suzy) Kruckenberg of Mooreland, Okla.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
