On Jan. 11 and 12, for the first time since 2007, the Hoisington Knights of Columbus Council 1521 hosted their annual Handicap, No Tap, Bowling Tournament at Cardinal Lanes in Hoisington.  More than 40 bowlers turned out for the contest and approximately $690 was paid out in prize money.  

Women’s division winners were, Emma Goemann, with a score of 1200, including one perfect game and Jeanie Rodie with a score of 1117.  

Men’s division winners were, Brandon McDonald with a score of 1106; Kent Schmidt with a score of 1088, including one perfect game; Alex Rziha with a score of 1079; Mike Steinert with a score of 1030, including one perfect game; Jeremy Ownings with a score of 1025; and David Felbauer with a score of 1023, including one perfect game.
