On Wednesday, July 31st, Forest Avenue Antiques celebrated a new chapter with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, marking the store’s new ownership under Todd and Amanda Vanskike, as well as its membership in the Great Bend Chamber of Commerce.
During the event, Amanda Vanskike shared her enthusiasm for the smooth transition into ownership, noting how much she has enjoyed her time at the store. “It’s never felt like a chore,” she said. “My daughter and I can easily spend hours here, working and cherishing every moment.”
Forest Avenue Antiques has long been a treasure trove for those who love to browse and discover unique items that speak to them. Amanda, a loyal customer before purchasing the store, understands this firsthand. “I’ve shopped at antique stores for years, always on the hunt for that perfect piece for my home or a thoughtful gift for someone special. Forest Avenue Antiques was always a favorite of mine.”
