Sandra Burton with Sandra Burton Massage has fun with the prize giveaways at Thursday’s Great Bend Chamber Coffee. Burton hosted the coffee at Renue Salon, Spa and Fashion Boutique, 1419 Main.

Sandra Burton is celebrating 25 years as a licensed massage therapist. She hosted this week’s Great Bend Chamber of Commerce Coffee at Renue Salon, Spa and Fashion Boutique, 1419 Main, which is her base of operation.

“I couldn’t have done it without the Chamber,” Burton said. “You’re my people. You’re my village. ...

“You’re my Village People?”

The wordplay continued throughout the event, with Burton handing out “door prizes” and “window prizes.”

The best part of her job is that moment when someone has just finished their massage. “I sit out here while the client gets dressed, they come out and they have that look – like they just got a massage – they are so happy, appreciative, more at peace. It’s a joy to be able to have that happen several times a day.”

The types of massage she offers are varied and tailored to the individual. Specialty treatments include hot bamboo massage, hot Himalayan sea salt stones, dry cupping, hot/cold therapy, deep trigger point and percussion gun. Burton is happy to explain all of these options, as well as her basic menu.

“It’s a total experience custom designed for you,” she tells her customers. Book an appointment online with Renue at schedulicity.com or call Renue, 620-792-2086, or send Burton a text at 512-773-6927.

Renue is part of the MyTown group. Mark Mingenback with MyTown’s board of directors mentioned other service providers at Renue. “Here at MyTown we are extremely happy to have Sandra here as part of our team. She’s added a great service to the team,” he said.
