The next round of HEAL grants open on Nov. 1st. The HEAL program is designed to bring downtown buildings back into productive use as spaces for: New or expanding businesses; Housing; Arts and culture; Civic engagement; Childcare; Entrepreneurship

There are two categories of the grant: the facade grant, up to $40,000, or the building grant, up to $100,000. Grants must be used for physical construction only. If you have a project that you feel would be a good candidate, go to https://www.kansascommerce.gov/community-development/heal/for more information. These grants must be submitted by Great Bend Economic Development organization in partnership with the property owner so reach out as soon as possible if you would like to participate in this grant round.
