Eakin Enterprises Inc. has selected Betty Delaney as employee of the second quarter for 2016. Betty was selected from factors based on job performance and safety.
Betty schedules and dispatches the ready mixed concrete and deliveries and the aggregate orders and deliveries from the Larned plant location. She takes phone orders and also takes care of walk in customers. Betty helps figure and calculate quantities for customers in addition to finding out all of the details and directions for the drivers. She also helps record inventory of raw materials to help schedule those incoming deliveries daily.
“Eakin recognizes and rewards employees for treating customers well and going above and beyond the regular call of duty all while completing their work safely and efficiently with no accidents or violations of any kind,” the company stated in a news release.
