22nd and McKinley intersection closed Tuesday
City of GB Logo

GREAT BEND - A manhole on McKinley at 22nd street has broken causing a hazard in the roadway. The City of Great Bend has a contractor that will be replacing the manhole Tuesday November 26th. For the safety of the crew working and the safety of traffic, we will have the intersection completely closed at 8 AM in the morning. Please be aware of the need to avoid or reroute around the area. We are planning for work to take one day and after the repairs are made McKinley will be down to one lane at that intersection for the next 5 days to allow for the curing of the concrete. Please be attentive and aware as we work to make repairs in the area. Thank you for your patience.
