Marjorie Elizabeth Schrater, 88, died Dec. 23 at Great Bend Regional Hospital. Born Dec. 10, 1923, in Alexander, she was the daughter of Samuel and Catherine (Wilhelm) Yost. On Oct. 7, 1944, she married Vernon Edward Schrater in Alexander. He died on Feb. 28, 2010. A resident of Great Bend since 1960, coming from Timken, she was a farm wife and a bookkeeper for Rowland's and Whitesell Lumber Company.
Dean Eric Golling, 44, passed away at his home in Great Bend on Dec. 18. He was born Dec. 20, 1966, at Los Angeles, Calif., to Theodore Eric and Elinor Bertha (Haley) Golling. He grew up in the San Diego area, and also lived in the Provo, Utah, area for a number of years, prior to moving to Great Bend about a year ago.
WICHITA - Cecilia "Cec" McClure died Dec. 21 at Hutchinson Hospice House after a brave battle with kidney failure. Born July 17, 1932 in Odin, she was the youngest child of William and Hattie (Frenzl) Klug of Odin. She married Larry McClure in 1961 and was a long-time resident of Wichita. She worked for Edminston Oil company for 22 years and 16 years at Wesley Medical Center where she retired at age 75. She said working kept her young and involved in life. ODIN - Margie Lynn Wondra, 64, died Dec. 22 at Evergreen Community of Johnson County in Olathe. Born Jan. 30, 1947 in Ellsworth, she was the daughter of Laborious (Bob) and Amelia (Kraft) Miller. A long-time resident of Barton County, she graduated from Dorrance High School and attended the Dominican School of Nursing in Great Bend. On Aug. 21, 1971 she married Ambrose Wondra in Great Bend. HUTCHINSON - Emanuel T. "Tim" Sauber, 79, died Dec. 22 at Hospice House in Hutchinson. He was born April 12, 1932, in Raymond, the son of Peter M. and Frances (Hoffman) Sauber. He was a 1950 graduate of Ellinwood High School and attended Hutchinson Community College. On May 18, 1957, he married Bettie A. Anderson at St. Joseph Church in Ellinwood. She survives. Emanuel retired from Cessna after 34 years as an industrial engineer and then worked for Trinity Junior and Senior High School for 20 years. Emanuel loved golfing, fishing and working on his lawn.
DENVER, Colo. - Susan Kay Ehrlich Campbell, 47, died Dec. 18 in Denver, Colo. Born Dec. 16, 1964 in Russell, she was the daughter of Glen and Leona (Maier) Ehrlich. A resident of Denver, Colo. for two years, coming from Hornell, N.Y., she was a caretaker.
WICHITA - Mildred Lucille (Ricker) Domey, 87, died Dec. 21 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. She was born March 29, 1924, at rural Preston, the daughter of John and Anna Miller Ricker. She married Raymond L. Domey on Feb. 21, 1943, at Junction City. A former Boeing Company and Cessna Aircraft employee, she had been a Wichita resident for 12 years.
HAYS - Matilda M. "Tillie" Urban, 88, died Dec. 21 at Hays Medical Center. Born Nov. 5, 1923, in Loretto, she was the daughter of Thomas M. and Bridget (Urban) Urban. On April 30, 1947, she married Leonard R. Urban at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Loretto. He died on Dec. 3, 1985. A resident of Colorado Springs, Colo., for 18 years, having been a resident of Rush and Ellis counties for a total of 70 years, she was a homemaker.

Born on March 5, 1931, at Alexander, she was the daughter of Walter H. and Minnie (Krug) Boese. Francisco DeJesus Adame, 77, passed away on June 27, 2015, at Great Bend Regional Hospital. Born on Aug. 17, 1937, at Camargo, Chihuahua, Mexico, he was the son of Francisco Adame Flores and Rosalia Rey. Francisco was united in marriage to Librada Tavarez Carrasco on May 25, 1962, at Rancho El Tubo Manuel Benavidez, Mexico. He farmed for much of his life, and enjoyed raising cattle. ELLINWOOD - Reinder Carl Ringwald, 92, died on June 22, 2015, in Great Bend. Born June 19, 1923, in rural Rice County he was the son of Reinder W. and Arrendiena (Soeken) Ringwald. On May 18, 1952, he married Edna Claudine Ewalt in Great Bend. She survives. A lifetime resident of rural Rice County and Ellinwood, he was a farmer/stockman until his retirement in 2010.
Ellen Louise Berry, 82, passed away June 16, 2015, at Hays Medical Center. Born April 30, 1933, in Kinsley, she was the daughter of Leslie Clarence and Martha (Amrine) Mack. On Jan. 6, 1951, she married Robert Clyde Berry in Larned. She was a Licensed Mental Health Technician retiring after 32 years at Larned State Hospital. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting and other handmade crafts. She also enjoyed gardening, flowers, reading all types of books including mysteries, time travel, historical and romance novels.
HUGOTON - Dolores Nadine (George) Foltz, 86, died on June 19, 2015, at Stevens County Hospital in Hugoton. Born Dec. 13, 1928, in Anthony, she was the daughter of Audra and Bernice (Feely) George. On June 22, 1947, she married Jack H. Foltz in Anthony at the First Congressional Church. She was a resident of Great Bend for 65 years. She loved her children and grandchildren, cooking, and gardening. She loved helping family and friends, she enjoyed gardening.

Brenda Ann Barger, 58, died June 25, 2015, at her home in Great Bend. She was born Sept. 17, 1956, at Salina, to Bob Bruce and Beverly Ann (Holdren) Burgard. She married Steve Barger Nov. 21, 1992, at Great Bend. A Great Bend resident since 1979, coming from Salina, she was a homemaker and foster mother.
LEE'S SUMMIT, Mo. - David Wayne Bowman, 55, died June 24, 2015, at Centerpoint Medical Center, Independence, Missouri. He was born Oct. 13, 1959, at Larned, to Howard and Carole (Unruh) Bowman. He was a 1977 graduate of Macksville High School and graduated from Barton County Community College, Emporia State University and the University of Kansas. A longtime Kansas City area resident, he was a custodian for the Lee's Summit School District.
